Director, Fixed Income (FI) Sales
About the position
Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Director, Fixed Income (FI) Sales in New York, NY (multiple positions available). The role involves providing daily oversight and coverage to Chilean Institutional and Corporate clients trading currencies (G10 and LatAm), interest rates (G10 and LatAm - with a focus on Chilean rates & FX), and other products including repo, credit default swaps and bond trading. The Director will ensure connectivity between our client base and our multiple trading teams to ensure seamless execution and risk management of transactions. Communication with clients to provide information on financial options is essential to keep them informed about transactions. The Director will evaluate and determine customers' financial services needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address these needs. Collaboration with various functions, including trading, structuring, legal and compliance across the value chain is necessary to deliver a seamless execution to clients while factoring in the regulatory, market, credit, legal and crossborder considerations. The role also includes working with Structuring and Trading teams to provide value-added products to our client base, directing the organization of meetings, roadshows, and roundtables, and managing stakeholder relationships across Macro and Credit as well as infrastructure partners in Operations, Legal, Credit, and Onboarding. The Director will be responsible for providing Barclays' FI Sales division in the U.S. with critical Chilean Institutional counterparty management, facilitating risk management and increased profitability. Compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards is mandatory. The position requires managing up to 4 direct reports and involves up to 15% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting may be allowed.
Responsibilities

Benefits
