Description
The Data Entry Specialist at UPS plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for entering and managing data regarding shipments, deliveries, and inventory. This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated, can maintain high levels of productivity, and adapt quickly to new software and systems. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our databases, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date. Your role will be key to ensuring that UPS maintains its reputation as a reliable and efficient logistics solution for our clients worldwide.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven data entry experience or similar role.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent organizational skills.
6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
1. Accurately enter data into company databases.
2. Verify entered data for accuracy and completeness.
3. Maintain and update existing data in our systems.
4. Work closely with other departments to ensure data consistency.
5. Identify and resolve discrepancies in data entries.
6. Adhere to UPS’s data management policies and procedures.
7. Contribute to team meetings and offer suggestions for process improvements.

Educational Qualifications
