This role is responsible for coordinating risk management activities, supporting safety initiatives, assisting with claims management, and maintaining business continuity and emergency response plans.<br><br><strong>SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:<br><br></strong><em>Risk Management & Safety<br><br></em><ul><li>Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of Workers’ Compensation (WC), General Liability (GL), property data.</li><li>Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety programs and procedures to reduce associate and customer accidents.</li><li>Partner with operations and store leadership to ensure compliance with safety policies and risk mitigation initiatives.</li><li>Track and follow up on corrective actions related to audits, inspections, and incident investigations.<br><br></li></ul><em>Claims Management<br><br></em><ul><li>Provide administrative support for WC, GL, property and cargo claims handling, including coordinating with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of claims and assist in preparing statistical analysis and risk reports.</li><li>Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness</li><li>Assist in developing, maintaining, and testing the organization’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.</li><li>Coordinate emergency response procedures and provide support during crisis situations.</li><li>Maintain communication plans and resources to ensure business resilience.<br><br></li></ul><em>Reporting & Analysis<br><br></em><ul><li>Prepare regular reports for leadership, including statistical analysis of claims, risk trends, and compliance metrics.</li><li>Support Risk Management leadership in creating and distributing region-specific or company-wide safety and risk reports<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience<br><br></strong><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Preferred experience in risk management, insurance, safety, compliance, or business continuity.</li><li>Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint</li><li>Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving</li><li>Collaboration and relationship-building</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong initiative and follow-through<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.</li><li>Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting and reaching).</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.<br><br></li></ul>When it comes to finding the right fit, we know there is a lot to consider.
