The Live Orchestration Department within DE&E Technology plays a crucial role in this mission. Our agile and responsive teams of technicians are responsible for the daily processes and procedures required to operate our live and on-demand streaming video products. This department provides round-the-clock support, ensuring that our products function seamlessly across all platforms. Our oversight includes both linear and event-based content, and we offer hands-on operational and procedural support, including system health monitoring and incident management. The Streaming Media Assistant is a vital member of our daily operations team, tasked with delivering high-profile media products to market. This role involves providing live, hands-on operational support, monitoring system health, mitigating routine issues, and orchestrating live and VOD streaming media using proprietary software.

Responsibilities
- Follow operational procedures and raise awareness of issues in workflows when they arise.
- Execute defined processes to validate the quality and availability of live content streams.
- Record steps to troubleshoot workflows when issues arise.
Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong understanding of computers and applications.
- Exemplary attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
- Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Solid computer and technical background, with experience working in digital media and online organizations.
- Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, particularly HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).
- Team player with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
- A minimum of 1-year of relevant working experience.
