Amazon is hiring for Package Processor

Amazon's Sortation Center's dedicated group is looking to add Package Processor to their team. You will be a significant contributor to the first stage of the warehouse-to-customer expedition. A quick-paced and physically demanding work setting, you will be arranging, scanning, and stacking packages onto pallets to ensure customer orders are ready for dispatch. With mostly part-time positions available, employees can have some control over their work schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Surroundings: The workplace where you'll be operating will contain numerous moving machines, like turret trucks, order pickers, mobile carts, and stand-up forklifts.
  • Activity: Engaging in certain tasks may call for extended periods of standing, moving about, or ascending stairs.
  • Temperature: The temperature measurements can vary within the range of 60°F and 90°F; occasionally, specific regions may experience temperatures above 90°F on scorching days.
  • Noise level: Due to excessive noise levels, the need for ear protection is met.
  • Dress code: Casual Attire Encouraged for Amazon Employees with Safety in Mind - Amazon employees can dress down while still adhering to safety requirements. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes should be worn by everyone, with the option of required safety footwear in select departments.
