COVER LETTER REQUIRED

Qualified candidates must be professional, outgoing, and friendly. The goal of the position is to provide residents with a clean, well-maintained, and fully functioning living environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance technician will include, but not limited to, general maintenance and repairs to the common elements of the interior and exterior of the buildings and grounds.

Core Duties:

· Regularly check common elements to identify, report and correct issues with unsafe conditions, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.

· Communicate with assigned supervisor on any pending items or the status of maintenance requests to ensure satisfaction.

· Timely perform basic repairs to common elements as needed , including insuring all property facilities are in working order, including interior, exterior and emergency lighting, piping/plumbing, HVAC air filters, etc.

  • Perform ongoing preventative maintenance on all exterior and common elements of the property as outlined in the provided comprehensive maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces, to include but not limited to paver parking areas, entryways, garages, walkways, and interior stairwells, and to support janitorial team where needed. Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
  • Other general maintenance type projects as assigned.
  • Escort/monitor service contractors when needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent maintenance-related fieldwork.
  • Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with guests, residents, staff, and management.
  • Hands-on experience within basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and cleaning outdoor spaces.
  • Physical requirements include being able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, operate boom lifts, stoop, kneel, and bend as well as have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Pay: $19- $23 per hour
