Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in urgent situations. As an EMT, you will work in various settings, including hospitals and during critical care transport, ensuring that patients receive the necessary treatment and support during emergencies.
Duties
- Assess patients' conditions through physical examinations and triage to determine the severity of their injuries or illnesses.
- Administer emergency medical care, including injections and venipuncture, as required.
- Provide patient care during transport to hospitals or medical facilities, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently while responding to calls for assistance.
- Stay informed about new techniques and protocols in emergency medical services, including urgent care practices.

Experience
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient assessment and care.
- Previous experience in urgent care or critical care transport is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with administering injections, performing venipuncture, and conducting physical examinations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
