Job Purpose and Responsibilities
Client management:
- Manage sellers and vendors signed up to account management, project management and consulting. This role supports a number of clients across several different industries.
- Provide an exceptional client experience with a key focus on account growth and retention for all of our clients.
- Provide day-to-day client support ensuring all support activities are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Learn and understand each client’s business and products.
- Work alongside the Marketplace Operations Executive to carry out daily checks on client accounts and rectify any issues by managing Amazon cases through to closure.
- Assist with account changes (e.g. moves from Vendor Central to Seller Central).
- Manage new client onboarding and training.
- Work strategically on client accounts to enable and facilitate product sales on the Amazon marketplace and to drive profitable growth in conversion, traffic and sales.
- Upsell our services at every opportunity.
Project management:
- Work directly with the Innovations & Insights Manager and the Creative team on content and design related tasks.
- Ensure expectations are set and that the team is well briefed on the task with clear deadlines included as part of the project timeline in Monday.com.
- Work proactively to get feedback from our clients to ensure they are happy with our services.
Product management:
- Collaborate with the Marketplace Operations Executive and Catalogue team to create, maintain and edit current and new product listings.
- Work with our Copywriters to optimise content. Ensure all listings are optimised for search and conversion and correctly displayed on site.
Customer engagement:
- Monitor product reviews, seller feedback, customer questions, customer messages.
- Work with clients on legitimate strategies to drive customer reviews.
Sales analysis and reporting:
- Work with the Marketplace Operations Executive to ensure monthly and ad hoc reports for sales, traffic, inventory and operations are administered and delivered for clients.
- Conduct ongoing competitor and market research for clients and work closely with the Insights and Innovations Manager where required.
- Provide recommendations and identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Produce client presentations to paint a clear picture, provide narrative around data and help to consult on new strategies.
Inventory management:
- On the seller side, forecast inventory, monitor sell through and raise FBA shipments where necessary.
- On the vendor side, monitor inventory health and manage overstocks and out of stocks.
Operations:
- Monitor and review account health and operational metrics, to avoid any suspensions and chargebacks.
- Work on resolving suspension and chargeback issues by proactively taking action.
Process Improvement:
- Continually identify new ways of working and improvements to current processes to drive efficiencies and improve the client experience.
Advertising:
- Work proactively and collaboratively with the Advertising team to provide clients with Advertising support, align advertising strategies and goals.
- Ensure the focus products are retail ready and brand stores are set up to drive optimal traffic.
Other:
- Attend regular online internal meetings and be prepared to present or contribute as required.
- Attend ‘in person’ meetings at an agreed location within the UK (up to 2 per year).
Skills and Experience required:
- An Amazon expert with 1-2 years' experience in managing Amazon Seller/Vendor accounts either for a brand, retailer or agency.
- Recent experience using the Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central dashboards
- A strategic thinker who can analyse Amazon performance and evaluate outputs.
- Outstanding business acumen, with the ability to apply your knowledge to take action for clients. You must be able to frame ideas in relation to financial and business implications, but also have the confidence and skills to tactically drive ideas forward.
- An expert at building long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, with a soft-skilled approach. You'll need a positive attitude, be animated and assertive, but have the emotional intelligence to be patient and empathetic with our clients.
- The ability to review market, advertising and sales metrics for use in developing strategic plans to achieve client goals.
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication, problem solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to work where there is ambiguity and take full responsibility and accountability of tasks.
- Be open to receiving constructive feedback and be able to take direction on Company standards and processes.
- Experience of successfully working in a virtual environment, where discipline and communication are second nature.
