Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Closer to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Title processing, with a comprehensive understanding Closing files from start to funding, underwriting processes . As a Closer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all loan documents are accurately prepared and executed, facilitating a smooth closing process for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare closing documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and escrow agents to ensure timely closings.
  • Conduct credit analysis and verify borrower information to assess eligibility.
  • Ensure adherence to TILA regulations throughout the closing process.
  • Manage contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and signed.
  • Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and escrow accounts.
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications related to closings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during the closing process.

Experience

  • Familiarity with mortgage servicing processes and regulations, including FNMA guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and credit analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in loan processing with a solid grasp of contracts related to real estate transactions.
  • Basic math skills required for calculations related to loans and escrow accounts.
  • Excellent typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency, for efficient documentation handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
