Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move lumber and building materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
  • Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts to efficiently transport and stack lumber and materials in designated locations, ensuring safe and proper handling at all times.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for customers or delivery, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
  • Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations; properly stack and store materials to prevent damage.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, particularly when operating forklifts or other heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse, lumberyard, or similar environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience required
  • Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to [50/75 pounds] regularly.
  • Basic math and measurement skills for handling materials.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
