About the position

Responsibilities

  • Perform startup, shutdown, and operation of various equipment/systems including gas compression and cryogenic processing units.
  • Conduct routine inspections and operations of dehydration and water treating systems.
  • Respond to alarms and problems within the plant, making appropriate corrections.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repair duties on engines, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspection, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and electrical devices.
  • Perform measurement activities including inspection and maintenance of meter and associated equipment.
  • Complete documentation such as timesheets, SAP work orders, and regulatory reports accurately.
  • Participate in training programs and safety meetings to comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
  • Respond to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 5 years or more of oil and gas operations experience
  • Must live/relocate within 60 miles of reporting location
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet
  • Ability to lift and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull forces up to 130 pounds
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and around rotating or moving equipment

Nice-to-haves

  • Completion of Tech school training program
  • 1 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation and electrical experience, or measurement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in both independent and team settings
