Position Overview
We are in search of a talented and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and analytical functions for assigned organizational groups. Collaborating closely with the FP&A Manager and Director, you will play an integral part in formulating and executing strategic financial goals that will guide the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with the Accounting team to analyze monthly variances and review actual performance. You will also partner with the Business Analytics team to identify, report, and assess key operational metrics. Your communication of results and insights to management through monthly and quarterly presentations will be crucial, as will your ability to devise action plans for addressing discrepancies. This role demands exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to create effective working relationships across the organization. As our company continues to expand, you will also contribute to the professional development and mentoring of team members as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts while upholding financial projections.
- Examine trends and their implications for future outcomes, enhancing analytical practices and methodologies.
- Drive special projects and analytical initiatives to support departmental leaders and business decisions.
- Effectively communicate financial outcomes and forecasts to non-financial personnel.
- Collaborate with the FP&A Manager on ad hoc financial analyses and modeling as required.
- Generate accurate financial forecasts while identifying key business drivers and challenges.
- Cultivate strong relationships with departmental leaders and executive management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with substantial analytical and modeling expertise.
- Experience within a dynamic, high-growth public company, ideally in the technology or SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with enterprise software management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and support executive-level decision-making.
- Advanced analytical and modeling competencies.
- Strong grasp of financial statements, including FP&A, Big 4 Transaction Services, corporate finance, investment banking, and management consulting.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with NetSuite and Anaplan is a plus.
- Experience in developing and maintaining operational headcount labor models.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders and executives.
- Proven experience working alongside C-suite executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage planning schedules.
- An inquisitive mindset focused on continuous learning about company practices and the competitive landscape.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial calculations and analysis.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is \(90,000 - \)120,000 annually, with the final offer based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grants based on individual performance, complemented by a robust benefits package.
