Your Key Responsibilities:
✅ Bookkeeping & Accounting:
✔ Categorizing transactions & attaching receipts
✔ Processing payroll
✔ Month-end close & reconciliations
✔ Managing sales tax filings
✅ Administrative Support:
✔ Scheduling, prioritizing tasks & client follow-ups
✔ Drafting letters, preparing documents, & developing business forms
✔ Managing emails & organizing electronic documents
✅ Research & Process Improvement:
✔ Researching tax law, accounting standards, & software solutions
✅ What We’re Looking For:
✔ QuickBooks Online (QBO) & Microsoft Excel experience REQUIRED (you’ll be tested!)
✔ Self-motivated & independent – ability to work with minimal supervision
✔ Detail-oriented – accuracy is key! Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and accuracy.
✔ Strong communicator – must be comfortable speaking up & asking questions
✔ Tech-savvy – ability to quickly learn new software
✔ Must have a secure, private dedicated home office – free from distractions
✔ Reliable & secure internet connection
✔ Ability to pass a background & credit check
✔ Education: High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
