Responsibilities

Additional duties and responsibilities
- We are looking for one who is excellent at multi-tasking and can start and stop, and route back to the original task at hand. Can prioritize tasks by due dates and deadlines.
- Previous experience using a cart to pick orders on foot and a workstation to pack the order in a fast paced warehouse environment.
- Has experience in driving a forklift (electric standup or sit down) using a handheld RF Scanner (RF Smart Software) to pick orders.
- This candidate must have the stamina to work on their feet to pick orders all day
- This candidate will also assist other departments and do other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Prior experience picking and packing using a handheld RF scanner.
- Follows Instructions and picks up quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Forklift Certification is preferred.
- Prior experience picking with a cart is essential.
- Fedex, UPS, USPS shipping is a plus!
- Prior order processing is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Perform the essential functions of the job for an 8-hour workday; with the exception of designated meal and rest periods
- Detect signs of dangerous obstacles & hear any horns/warning devices up to 30 feet
- Carrying & lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights occasionally above 10 feet
- Work involves: walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and adapt to change quickly
- Must be able to maintain standing / walking position throughout the workday
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (overtime and weekends when necessary)
