Live-in Caregiver

Seeking a caregiver to work a shift that begins on Saturday at 10:30 am and ends on Monday at 10:30 am. This is for a 4 bed assisted living facility in the Dunedin area that services mental health and APD clients. Sleep quarters are provided for an 8 hour sleep period per night.

Responsibilities and Duties

Supervision of residents, assistance with self-administration of medications, meal preparation/snacks, assistance with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living as needed, documentation, light housekeeping and notifying the administrator of any changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications and Skills

Must:

-Have a high school or GED diploma and prefer several year's experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or childcare setting, or experience working with recipients with developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues.

-Be able to pass a level II background screening.

-Have to be able to obtain the necessary training required to work in this setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250.00 per day
