In this role, you will be the primary troubleshooter for mechanical and electrical systems, a first responder to critical plant outages, and a proactive leader in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyor belts, various pumps (e.g., Pentair, Gould’s), and valves.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC-based equipment.

  • Install and repair plumbing systems (PVC, galvanized pipe).

  • Conduct plant inspections and diagnostics from ground level or at heights.

  • Respond to plant outages and equipment failures, supporting plant operators to minimize production downtime.

  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts, as needed.

  • Use Microsoft Office Suite to track maintenance data, manage expenses, and report on inventory.

  • Lead field projects with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations.

  • Support truck shop operations, including scheduling PMs, ordering parts, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification is a plus.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in heavy industrial settings like concrete or asphalt.

  • strong background in electrical and mechanical repair.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at elevated heights.

  • Comfortable with physical labor in rugged conditions, including loud noise, dust, and exposure to weather.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • standing for 9 hours at one time
  • working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
