Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restaurant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety. As Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
  • Participate in catering events as required, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, with a focus on meal preparation and cooking.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with catering services and menu planning is a plus.
  • Strong knife skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are required.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
