Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our food service, catering, and hospitality efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
  • Support banquet operations by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
  • Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean working environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards.
  • Experience in culinary roles or hotel catering services is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to providing excellent hospitality.
  • Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks including cooking, serving, and cleaning as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
