- Greet and welcome customers to the home showroom in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring all products are displayed properly and shelves are fully stocked.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process customer orders and handle any returns or exchanges.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any low stock items to management.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products to the showroom.
- Accurately record and maintain inventory counts.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning tasks in the showroom, such as dusting and restocking.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling displays for special events or promotions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the showroom.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and pricing information to assist customers with their buying decisions.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to protect company assets and maintain a safe working environment.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to learn about new products and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service Skills: The Home Showroom Clerk Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively, Resolve Customer Complaints, And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
- Attention To Detail: As A Home Showroom Clerk, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Accurately Processing Orders, Maintaining Inventory, And Ensuring The Showroom Is Well-Stocked And Organized. Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure All Tasks Are Completed Accurately And Efficiently.
- Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Costco Logistics Home Showroom Clerks Are Expected To Work Quickly And Efficiently To Meet The Demands Of A Busy Retail Environment. The Ability To Multitask And Work Well Under Pressure Is Necessary For This Role.
- Knowledge Of Home Furnishings And Décor: A Solid Understanding Of Home Furnishings, Décor, And Design Trends Is Beneficial For A Home Showroom Clerk. This Will Help The Individual Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products And Provide Recommendations Based On Their Needs.
- Computer Skills: Costco Logistics Home Showroom Clerks Use Computer Systems For Processing Orders, Managing Inventory, And Updating Product Information. Proficiency In Basic Computer Skills And The Ability To Quickly Learn New Software Programs Is Important For This Position.
