Varying shifts are available Sunday-Saturday based on client needs.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provide non-medical in-home and/or community care based on the Client Service Plan. Tasks include:

  • Client Support & Care:
    • Perform wellness checks to ensure clients' well-being.
    • Assist with admission documents as needed.
    • Train caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
    • Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Familiarize yourself with rules, policies, and procedures.
    • Submit documentation accurately and on time.
    • Adhere to individual service plans.
    • Maintain confidentiality of client records.
  • Safety & Reporting:
    • Report incidents of injury or suspected abuse.

Caregiver Job Duties & Qualifications:

Job Duties

Provide ADLs and IADLs as outlined in the Personal Support Plan. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal Care Assistance:
    • Bathing, dressing, assistance with walking, hygiene, grooming, and meal help.
  • Meal Preparation & Household Tasks:
    • Cook meals, wash dishes, laundry, and general housekeeping.
  • Home Maintenance & Cleaning:
    • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, making beds, emptying garbage, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Companionship & Support:
    • Engage with clients to enhance their emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a valid State ID/Driver's License.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Have a compassionate and caring nature.
  • Have honesty and integrity.
  • Be willing to attend training sessions.
