Barista & Manager for Specialty Coffee Drink Location

Premium hourly pay + pooled tips

We offer above-market base pay, and team members also share in pooled tips. This isn't a server role — tips are a bonus on top of a strong hourly rate.

We are looking for an experienced barista and specialty coffee drink maker to join our team The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with a wide range of coffee preparation methods and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality hot and cold coffee beverages, including:
  • Espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, flat whites, etc.)
  • Specialty beverages (mochas, flavored lattes, signature drinks)
  • Cold brew, iced lattes, and frappé-style drinks
  • Maintain consistency, speed, and excellent presentation
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee/espresso station
  • Assist with opening/closing duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven barista experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of espresso equipment, grinders, and milk texturing
  • Ability to craft a wide variety of coffee styles and beverages with precision
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and strong work ethic

Bonus Skills

  • Prior shift leader or management experience
  • Passion for coffee, creativity with recipes, and attention to detail
