Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves the guests in a professional and efficient manner
  • Follows up on any reasonable requests while using proper serving techniques
  • Removes dirty dishes from the tables as guests finish their meal or course
  • Loads all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown at the dish line
  • Maintains open communication with the Kitchen staff
  • Ensures station has proper set up
  • Prepares and serves beverages for the function
  • Checks the quality of food before serving
  • Cleans up after the function; sweep, mop, clean dishes from table, put everything away
  • Assists the set up staff in table set up; buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
  • Completes all side work before end of shift
  • Reviews the BEO's for menu details, special instructions, etc.
  • Completes other tasks as assigned

Experience and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Physical Demands:

To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items.

Work Environment:

This associate must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time. The individual may frequently work in an outdoor climate.
