POSITION TITLE: Senior Developer (multiple openings)

POSITION LOCATION: 1001 E. Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX 75082

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop integrating, testing, and maintain existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies/ delivery models. Provide subject matter expertise to AMS and other Center teams, as required. Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps. Traditional Development, Design, build and unit test highly scalable applications. Provide maintenance support to applications as required supporting incident escalations. Identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities and Agile Development. Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews. Provide basic design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate development. Design, develop, and distribute reusable technical components. Assist in developing of technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment. Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs of application solutions for clients. Telecommuting: 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field and 4 years of experience as an Information Technology Specialist or a related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Traditional app languages (COBOL); (2) Service oriented architecture (SOA); Experience in web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#); (3) Cloud computing technologies (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) and experience in application configuration; and (4) SDLC Methodology (Agile/ Scrum/Iterative Development).

RATE OF PAY: $127,878.00 - $132,118.00 per year
