About the position
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Honolulu, HI. You will be joining a global team of over 500 maritime specialists who support a wide range of maritime developments including container terminals, LNG facilities, waterfront developments, federal maritime facilities, cruise and ferry terminals, marinas and harbors, as well as coastal schemes such as beach development and coastal protection schemes. The role will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of small to large-scale Ports & Marine projects across the project lifecycle - from conceptual studies to full design and construction administration.
This includes planning and managing project staffing requirements, reporting project performance, and identifying and addressing scope creep, schedule, or quality issues to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects. As a Project Manager, you will manage one or more complex projects, which may involve a combination of various engineering services offered by AECOM. You will provide project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects, identify problems, determine the accuracy and relevance of information, use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.
Additionally, you will review contracts, prepare fee proposals, and develop project execution strategies while managing sub-consultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performance. Strong presentation and communication skills in English are essential, along with good report and proposal writing skills. You will also be responsible for developing new client relationships and strengthening existing ones, focusing on clients' key requirements. Team leadership skills are crucial, as you will be expected to be a self-starter, energetic, and proactive, while also being a strong team player.

Responsibilities
- Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of small to large-scale Ports & Marine projects.

Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or Maritime Engineering + 8 years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer Registration with the ability to attain a State of Hawaii Professional Engineer Registration within 12 months.
- Project Management experience in seaport related infrastructure.
- Experience with computer aided design (AutoCAD).
- Experience with ArcGIS.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
