What You'll Do: Be the Voice of American Airlines

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, addressing their travel needs with precision and care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Exceptional Customer Support: Handle a high volume of inbound calls, providing professional and empathetic assistance with a wide range of inquiries including flight reservations, changes, cancellations, baggage queries, loyalty program questions (AAdvantage®), and general travel information.
  • Problem Resolution: Actively listen to customer concerns, accurately diagnose issues, and provide efficient, complete, and timely solutions, often requiring quick thinking and resourceful navigation of complex airline systems.
  • System Navigation: Proficiently use multiple internal digital tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to access customer information, flight details, policies, and support resources.
  • Accurate Documentation: Meticulously record all customer interactions, details of inquiries, and resolutions to ensure comprehensive and accurate account records.
  • Policy & Procedure Adherence: Maintain a deep understanding of American Airlines' policies, procedures, and government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA) to ensure compliance and provide accurate information.
  • Professionalism Under Pressure: Remain calm, courteous, and professional while handling challenging situations, irregular operations (e.g., flight delays/cancellations), and frustrated customers.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on new services, policies, and system enhancements.
