About the Role

As a Dispatcher for Fast Dash Delivery, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient, and safe package delivery to customers. You will coordinate drivers, routes, and schedules, acting as the operational hub that keeps our delivery network running smoothly. Your focus will be on communication, problem-solving, and supporting drivers to meet Amazon’s high delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign daily delivery routes to drivers based on volume, capacity, and geographic area.
  • Monitor driver performance and delivery progress in real-time using Amazon and internal tracking systems.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding route changes, delays, or incidents.
  • Respond to driver questions and resolve delivery-related issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Track and report on daily metrics, including on-time delivery rates, mileage, and route efficiency.
  • Assist with scheduling driver shifts, breaks, and time-off requests.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Amazon delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver communications, incidents, and operational notes.
  • Coordinate with management to optimize routes, staffing, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalations from drivers and customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • REQUIREMENT: Must have been an Amazon driver for at least 1 year
  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or route coordination strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with route planning, GPS systems, and mobile communication tools.
  • Knowledge of Amazon DSP operations a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based, with frequent communication with drivers in the field.
  • Typical shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on delivery volume.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and adaptability.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
