- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' doorsteps within designated areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Keep accurate records of packages delivered and obtain necessary signatures.
- Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues regarding delivery schedules and any issues or concerns.
- Report any vehicle or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and efficiency.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on duty.
- Attend training and development programs as required by the company.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure the well-being of oneself and others.

Job Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A City Driver At Fedex Must Possess A Valid Cdl With Necessary Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating. This Includes A Clean Driving Record And The Ability To Pass A Dot Physical Exam.
- Experience In Commercial Driving: Candidates For A City Driver Position At Fedex Should Have Previous Experience In Commercial Driving, Preferably In A Similar Role Or With A Similar Company. This Experience Should Include Driving Larger Vehicles And Delivering Goods In An Urban Setting.
- Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: As A City Driver, One Must Be Familiar With All Local, State, And Federal Safety Regulations And Be Able To Adhere To Them At All Times. This Includes The Ability To Properly Secure And Handle Freight, Operate Vehicles In All Types Of Weather And Road Conditions, And Maintain A Safe Driving Record.
- Customer Service Skills: Fedex Is Known For Its Exceptional Customer Service, And A City Driver Is Expected To Uphold This Reputation. Candidates Should Possess Strong Communication Skills, The Ability To Interact With Customers In A Professional Manner, And The Willingness To Go Above And Beyond To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Physical Fitness: This Position Requires A High Level Of Physical Fitness, As City Drivers Are Responsible For Loading And Unloading Packages Of Various Weights And Sizes. Candidates Must Also Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Be Able To Lift And Move Objects Up To 75 Lbs. On A Regular Basis.
