About the position
Stability Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for a travel nursing position in Lynwood, California. This role is designed for a registered nurse with experience in NICU, providing critical care to newborns who require specialized medical attention. The position is for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, primarily during the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to infants in a fast-paced and challenging environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to infants in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess the health status of newborns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate parents and families about infant care and health issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California.
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU).
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments.
