Responsibilities

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years prior inpatient RN care manager experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated utilization review/discharge planning experience.
- Effective interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership ability and conflict management skills.
- Proficiency in information systems, databases, and MS Office programs.
Nice-to-haves
- BSN/MSN degree.
- ACM and/or CCM certification.
- Three to five years of clinical RN experience or RN care management experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in Med/Surg, progressive care, or ED as a clinical RN.
- Previous supervisory/management experience.
- Experience in post-acute care facility or home health agency.
- Familiarity with Epic, ECIN (Allscripts), and/or Utilization Review / InterQual.
