About the position
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, and Valley Health Specialty Hospital, with the newest facility being West Henderson Hospital. The position involves providing safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. It includes professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, with a foundation in Patient Centered Care. The role also involves overseeing and guiding employees under supervision and demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
- One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Approved Crisis Management Course required.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
