About the position
The Doctor's Choice Home Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their Home Health Team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This per diem position allows nurses to choose their patient load, schedule, and coverage areas, providing flexibility while delivering skilled nursing services to patients in various locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of skilled nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
- Accept cases at least 3 days a week and manage your own schedule.
- Cover designated areas including Camarillo, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Oxnard, and Ventura.

Requirements
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with a CA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Physical/TB test from the last 6 months or sooner from hire.
Nice-to-haves
- Home Health Experience as an RN (1 year preferred).
- IV Experience/IV insertion (preferred).
- Acute Care experience (preferred).
- Wound Vac experience (preferred).
- Experience in EMR software (preferred).
