Part Time Medical Assistant-Bilingual in Spanish - 5 days per week id-12319
<h3>Job description</h3>
<p>Downtown Los Angeles Pulmonary Practice with a large Spanish and Korean patient demographic is in need of a part-time medical assistant that is fluent in Spanish (if fluent in Korean, as well that would be great!). Strong medical interpretation skills (Spanish) are necessary. MUST have at least 3 years experience working both back and front office. Must have a solid understanding of HMO insurance. Excellent communication skills ( verbal, listening, and writing skills) are necessary.

Will be in a supportive role to 3 other Medical Assistants. Need to be able to do vital signs, room patients, interpret for the physicians, retrieve medical records from facility portals, help with medical record requests from outside entities, file documents in our EMR, and schedule patients for follow up appointments. Must have references and must be dependable and reliable to support busy practice. Availiability Monday thru Friday 10:00-4:00pm. Total hours per day 6 hours or 27.5 hrs per week (Includes meal break). Ability to pick up more hours on occassion.<br />
