American Quest Home Loans is seeking a talented and service-oriented Junior Loan Officer to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. As a Junior Loan Officer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including mortgage lenders, underwriters, loan processors, senior mortgage loan originators, and realtors, to ensure the successful completion of loan transactions.
You will be responsible for collecting financial information to prepare loan files, assisting applicants with their loan applications, and assessing their financial situations and eligibility. Additionally, you will communicate with senior mortgage loan officers to recommend suitable mortgage loan products based on applicants' financial statuses. Monitoring the sales pipeline, meeting sales expectations, generating referrals, and creating new business opportunities will also be key aspects of your role. You will have the opportunity to educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loans, answer their questions, and build personal relationships to enhance their experience with our services.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mortgage lenders, underwriters, loan processors, senior MLOs, and realtors to ensure successful loan transactions.
- Collect financial information to prepare loan files and assist applicants with loan applications.
- Assess applicants' financial situations and eligibility for loans.
- Communicate with senior mortgage loan officers to recommend suitable mortgage loan products based on applicants' financial status.
- Monitor the sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, generate referrals, and create new business opportunities.
- Educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loans and provide additional information to build personal relationships.
Requirements
- Willingness to complete a training program to obtain NMLS/MLO/state license.
- Experience in real estate, lending institutions, credit unions, financial services, or related fields is desired but not required.
- Superb relationship, sales, communication, and Microsoft Office skills are essential.
- Familiarity with home mortgage program guidelines and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc., is beneficial but not required.
- Must have a current book of business; training assistance will be provided.
