The Role
AXS is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Los Angeles, CA team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insight to support our business. Your responsibilities will encompass consolidating and meticulously examining financial data from various sources, generating comprehensive reports, and offering actionable recommendations to facilitate well-informed business decisions.
What Will You Do?
- Provide quantitative and analytical support for decision-making in the annual budget and monthly forecasting process
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop their annual budgets and revise their monthly forecast
- Partner with department leads to strategize and oversee their Profit and Loss (P&L) activities through effective collaboration and coordination
- Utilize historical data and industry trends to forecast future revenues and/or expenses
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Produce comprehensive financial reports for management and BU leaders, including financial results, KPIs, and thorough budget variance analysis
- Offer valuable financial insights and analysis to support the company's long-term growth strategies
- Participate in, prepare for, and present during monthly management P&L review meetings
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to ensure precise and accurate monthly closings for high-visibility areas with increased complexity
- Serve as a subject matter expert and take the lead on projects
- Design and deliver presentations for Financial Review and Budget meetings
- Ensure financial compliance of policy and procedures as it relates to Invoice/Expense approvals
What Will You Bring?
- 6-8 years of related work experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic accounting
- BA/BS Degree in business related field (Accounting or Finance). Advanced Degree Preferred
- Experience with Planning solutions, Oracle (JD Edwards), Onestream and/or Hubble
- Experience with financial systems and ability to work with and manage large amounts of data
- Advanced Excel, Modeling, and PowerPoint skills
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, financial modeling, and working knowledge of accounting principles
- Ability to execute on special projects with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision by leveraging past experiences and instincts of business requirements
- Showcase exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, combined with experience in collaborating with leaders at the executive level
- Exhibit proficiency in managing numerous projects, tasks, and priorities, all while adhering to set deadlines
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation
- Employee may be required to work overtime during peak seasons to support the business requirements

Pay Scale: $80,851-$110,250
