Sr Product Manager- Tech, Defect Prevention & Reconciliation id-11233
Description
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager Tech to lead strategic product initiatives within Amazon's WW FBA Supply Chain Defects and Seller Reimbursements organization. In this role, you'll drive the vision, strategy, and execution of technology products that enhance our fulfillment network capabilities and seller experience, particularly focusing on High Value Items.
We build innovative products that recognize, reconcile, and prevent defects within Amazon’s fulfillment supply chain where you will own the system technology, seller facing products and tools, and policies. We are building a future where we capture, analyze, and explain every inventory defect across all stages of the supply chain (i.e. inbound, distribution, storage, fulfillment, returns). This includes ownership of policies and the technology that goes into seller contacts, conducting reimbursement as well as developing features that improve the accuracy of our systems and the experience of our selling partners.

Key job responsibilities
Independent and flexible with strong communication skills, the successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and experience in data analysis . Experience working in a cross-functional capacity as well as a proven track record of delivering operational excellence are important. You will
- Own a product portfolio that will drive profitability of High ASP portfolio by reducing our cost-to-serve, improving seller experience, and reducing cost for sellers.
- Own understanding the best ways to efficiently resolve seller contacts, reduce their cost, reduce customer returns, improve seller reimbursement processes and reduce overall cost to serve by using AI and ML to drive insights and recommendations to sellers to reduce their returns; improve the tools and work with the science and engineering teams to build reconciliation and defect reductions models. You will own the also workflow automation within your defect domain.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for complex technical products that serve FBA's global seller base and internal operations
- Partner with engineering, operations, business teams, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
- Define and analyze key metrics to measure product success and drive data-informed decisions in WBRs/MBRs
- Represent the product organization in senior leadership discussions and drive alignment across multiple teams
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in building Generative AI tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
