DESCRIPCIÓN

The Amazon Grocery Support team (F3RS) is seeking an experienced Manager of Program Management to develop and lead a team of high performing operations and program managers responsible for end-to-end support solutions for grocery category and retail teams across various Grocery marketplaces. The job involves end to end business planning including but not limited to creating annual plans and strategy for execution, ensuring operational rigor and designing high business impact processes. This Program Manager will be the strategic point of contact to the retail teams of NA Amazon Grocery and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote teams and senior leaders.

The Program Manager of Operations will manage business impact via functional activities and will be accountable for designing and delivering on all KPIs of the same. The individual will interface and drive agenda with the automation & technology teams to build scalable solutions and in addition he/she will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of Amazon’s systems and data. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. He or she will identify individual strengths of team members and contribute to talent advancement along with succession planning opportunities within the company.

The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.

Key job responsibilities
• Responsibility for defining and driving operational/business goals.
• Building a data-oriented culture, adoption of technology solutions and process improvement projects to achieve operational and business goals.
• Foresee capacity issues and works independently with the business to plan and set expectations.
• Conduct weekly/monthly reporting of team performance according to defined metrics.
• Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on operational milestones, process changes, escalations, etc.
• Coordinate between on-site team members and global stakeholders for operating procedure updates and improvements as well as escalations.
• Designing and developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the Retail business.
• Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization.
• Manage relationships with agencies and onsite HR to find qualified candidates under strict deadlines.
• Owning specific people programs on coaching and development and team engagement.

About the team
The Amazon Grocery Support team (F3RS) is an organization that has been supporting NA Grocery businesses over the past five years across multiple functional responsibilities ranging from: marketing, catalog, events management, merchandising, category management, expansion, and program management. F3RS currently serves as main solutions partner for Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market and Grocery Partners through portfolio management and tactical solutions.

San Jose, H, CRI

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of team management experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience with data analysis and business case development, and managing programs from concept to implementation

REQUISITOS DESEADOS

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
- Experience in translating business needs into detailed feature requirements.
- Experience in e-commerce/Hi-tech/Retail industry or management consulting with focus on one of these industries.
