Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our telemedicine team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with various medical procedures, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.

We are a fast-paced, high-growth startup launching several brands--our patients currently are a mix of weight loss, wellness and urgent care and we are launching a new EMR to facilitate the (often asynchronous) patient encounter.

Encounters are chat based unless state laws dictate otherwise.

Duties

  • Conduct patient assessments and gather medical histories to inform treatment plans.
  • Complete the telehealth visit
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, psychopharmacology, and weight loss medical management
  • License to practice in FPA states, including Oregon, Massachusetts and others
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and documentation.
