Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher Screener, you will work closely with the Talent team to assess and interview a rich array of exceptional teacher candidates for our schools in New York and Philadelphia. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the recruitment of a talented and diverse educator workforce. You will be an ambassador for our brand, embodying the values and mission of our organization with every interaction.
- Advocate for our organization, presenting it as a unique and exciting opportunity for educators, emphasizing our commitment to global citizenship, diversity, and intellectual richness.
- Evaluate teacher candidates by reviewing applications, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews, and completing reference verifications.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to candidates throughout their interview journey.
- Maintain regular communication with the Talent team and fellow screeners.
- Engage in training sessions to enhance your skills.
- Attend recruitment events in the Philadelphia area (preferred, but not required).
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the operational efficiency of the Talent team.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a lead teacher in an urban, charter, public, or Title I educational setting in Philadelphia.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proficient in utilizing technology (training on our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, will be provided).
- Access to a functioning phone and webcam for training and conducting interviews.
- Previous experience in teacher interviews is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to identify and attract exceptional talent.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving results.
- A cheerful disposition and a positive mindset.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is essential.
- Experience as a lead teacher in a relevant educational environment is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits
