Responsibilities
- Track, trace, and update the status of shipments daily
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry
- Transfer information from emails and various shipping documents into spreadsheets and company systems
- Maintain effective communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Prepare shipping documents for customers
- Monitor daily reports and ensure accurate billing
- Meet key performance indicators to support company goals
- Seek improved ways for operational efficiency
- Protect confidential customer information
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding
- Experience handling a high volume of data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong follow-up abilities and email communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese Chinese skills are an asset but not required
Education Requirements
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
