Description
Prime Video is seeking a Media Workflow Manager to lead our growing Live Sports Production Technical Operations team. This role provides leadership and support for all workflows from ingest to playout.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will design, vet, and document workflows alongside the Digital Media Manager and Engineering department within Tech Ops. They must have vision, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a drive to learn and be curious in a high-stakes environment that is constantly evolving.
This role requires working closely with production teams and vendors to manage timely delivery of assets. The successful candidate will ensure that all assets and documents are efficiently delivered as required, including confirming that assets adhere to technical specifications and follow mandated file naming conventions.

About the Team
We provide technical operations support for live sports streaming on Prime Video. Our team works at the Amazon production facility in Culver City, CA to produce compelling sports content for customers, including NFL Thursday Night Football.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day workflow of all assets to ensure efficient delivery
- Create media delivery requirements (MDR) documents for all sports in the portfolio
- Work closely with production teams and vendors to manage timely delivery of assets
- Liaise with production teams and vendors regularly to ensure best practices are communicated
- Ensure all assets and documents are efficiently delivered as required
- Learn new platforms as in-house media asset management tools expand
- Collaborate with Amazon technology teams to improve existing tools and operational workflows
- Set file retention policies based on projects and workflows
Requirements
- 8+ years of media management experience
- Deep knowledge of metadata creation, management & remediation best practices
- Knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats and industry best practices
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
- Experience with high-volume, high-velocity, large-scale file management
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and technical workflows
