Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking a highly skilled Health Informatics Analyst to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in optimizing operational programs and business processes. As an Electronic Health Record Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in clinical informatics and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive
organizational change.

Primary Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Nursing, Informatics, Biomedical Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field with knowledge of direct patient care.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program analysis, data analysis, or informatics, with relevant experience in a Veterans Administration healthcare setting and/or relevant
    experience working with the Federal Electronic Health Record.
  • Proficient in creating clinical workflow mapping and familiarity with BPMN+ notation.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey program status, provide recommendations, present and mitigate risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and operational excellence through Agile methodologies.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance



Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a clinical field (PA-C, FNP, etc)
  • Informatics Certification (NI-BC, CPHIMS)
  • Master Degree in Informatics, or Bioinformatics
  • Oracle Health (Cerner) experience
  • Experience with PharmNet
  • Experience with PowerPlans
  • Direct experience working within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health
    Administration.
