Fire & Theft Claims Adjuster - Auto id-15005

About the position

As a Fire & Theft Claims Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in the Claims team by investigating and resolving claims related to fire and theft damage. This hybrid position involves analyzing coverage and liability, managing repairs, assessing vehicle damage, and overseeing rental management. You will be expected to report to the office approximately four days a month for meetings and training, while also benefiting from ongoing support and coaching from your team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of relevant work experience with one year as a claims adjuster, property damage adjuster, or repair work within an automobile repair and/or body shop experience.
  • OR an Associate's degree and a minimum of three years relevant work experience with one year as a claims adjuster, property damage adjuster, or repair work within an automobile repair and/or body shop experience.
  • OR a Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of one year as a claims adjuster, property damage adjuster, or repair work within an automobile repair and/or body shop experience.
  • Must have successfully completed the Fire and Investigations Course by Claims University (or complete within three months of hiring into position).
  • This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
