- Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up.
- Ensure courteous and efficient service during deliveries.
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service features.
- Provide related customer service functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance for customer contact.
- Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
